Caspar van Woudenberg (1995 Utrecht), studied script writing at the Dutch Film Academy where he  finished with the short film A Capella in D Mineur (Malu Janssen 2022) that won the AVRO-TROS scenario competition and the Zilveren Krulstaart 2022.

Caspar uses dramatic en comedic elements to create an abrasive atmosphere that can be funny and tragic at the same time. Theme is usually central to the story and often determines which characters are used. With his writing he tries to give the audience an opening to a conversation rather than an opinion.

Currently he is working in the writersroom of the crime series Mocro Maffia & Sleepers, writing a first draft of "The Wolfhunters", a featurelenght film targeted on young audiences for Kepler Film, finishing a Filmfonds shorts called: Inhumane (Nils Vleugels 2024), and is developing several personal projects. 

Favorite Creators: Ruben Östlund, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Judd Apatow, Lena Dunham, Mike White, Donald Glover, Alexander Payne, Michaela Coel, Taika Waititi, Sean Baker, Yorgos Lanthimos, Stanley Kubrick, Bong Joon Ho and Ari Aster.
