About Caspar van Woudenberg
Caspar van Woudenberg (1995 Utrecht), studied at script writing at the Dutch Film Academy where he wrote Wolven (Lisette Vlaszak 2020 and finished with A Capella in D Mineur (Malu Janssen 2022) that won the AVRO-TROS scenario competition. Furthermore he did an intership with director Paula van der Oest for the movie Love in a bottle.
Caspar excells in setting long arcs in which theme is usually essential. It's often abrasive and mostly comedic in its recogniseability. With his films, he tries to give people a helping hand for a conversation without drawing a conclusion. Favorite filmmakers: Ruben Östlund, Taika Waititi, Stanley Kubrick, Yorgos Lanthimos, Bong Joon Ho, Alexander Payne, Ari Aster
Currently he works as researcher for Shariff Korver and assists Achmed Akkabi, Jim Taihuttu and Oscar van Woensel in a writers room.
Caspar has joined Henneman Agency under Gillian Pagano Mirani.
